Sustainability: The new ecology of food

Our first of a series of articles on the new ecology of food, was just posted and printed last week by the Northfield News. The paper will be printing a series of articles I am writing related to the ecology of food and how we are building systems to reflect a whole ecology, one that incorporates everyone, every aspect of it and concretely delivers new ways of arranging energy, resources, people, marketing, distribution, consumer awareness and other components of food systems so that we can re-engineer our way into new systems that we can sustain for a very long time.
According to the current titles, we will have about 50 short articles, the second one was already submitted today, but for now, here is the link to the first one:
